Where to go from Kyiv by VIP minibus: Warsaw, Kraków, Chișinău, Istanbul and Antalya

The five destinations we serve from Kyiv every day: how long the journey takes, what a ticket costs, when to set off and what to see when you get there.

We’ve been taking passengers from Kyiv by VIP minibus since 2017, and today we run daily to five cities: two in Poland, the Moldovan capital and two in Turkey. All services are direct, in Mercedes-Benz Sprinter VIP minibuses with just 8 wide leather seats in a 1+1 layout, Wi-Fi, a socket at every seat, and water and coffee on the way. Here’s how long each journey takes and why each city is worth the trip.

1. Warsaw, Poland

Getting there: Kyiv — Warsaw has 9 departures a day between 07:20 and 23:50 and takes about 12 hours via Zhytomyr, Rivne and Lutsk. A ticket costs €195 (≈ UAH 9,945), or €390 return (≈ UAH 19,890). You arrive at Warszawa Zachodnia bus station, 10 minutes from the centre by train.

What to see: the rebuilt Old Town, the Royal Route, Łazienki Park, the viewing terrace of the Palace of Culture and Science, the Warsaw Rising Museum and the Vistula riverside.

Who it suits: anyone combining travel with business: the 21:10 or 23:50 night service gets you to Warsaw in the morning, and Wi-Fi and a socket let you work on the way.

2. Kraków, Poland

Getting there: Kyiv — Kraków has 7 departures a day and takes about 11 hours via Zhytomyr and Lviv, at €195 (≈ UAH 9,945) one way or €390 return. The minibuses arrive at MDA Kraków bus station, next to the main railway station.

What to see: the Main Market Square and the Cloth Hall, Wawel Castle, the Jewish quarter of Kazimierz and the boulevards along the Vistula. You can explore the old town on foot in a day or two.

Who it suits: first-time travellers abroad: the Main Market Square is a 10-minute walk from the bus station.

3. Chișinău, Moldova

Getting there: Kyiv — Chișinău has 7 departures a day and takes about 9 hours via Vinnytsia. A ticket costs €170 (≈ UAH 8,670), or €340 return (≈ UAH 17,340). You arrive at the Central Bus Station in the city centre.

What to see: the Nativity Cathedral and the Triumphal Arch, Ștefan cel Mare Park, the Central Market and, just outside the city, the wine cellars of Cricova and Mileștii Mici. There’s no time difference with Kyiv.

Who it suits: anyone after a short trip: the 22:10 service arrives in Chișinău at 07:10, leaving you a whole day ahead.

4. Istanbul, Turkey

Getting there: Kyiv — Istanbul has 6 departures a day and takes about 21 hours via Uman and Odesa, then through Moldova, Romania and Bulgaria. A ticket costs €295 (≈ UAH 15,045), or €590 return (≈ UAH 30,090). You arrive at Esenler Bus Terminal, which has a metro link to the centre.

What to see: Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapı Palace, the Grand Bazaar, the Galata Tower and a boat trip along the Bosphorus.
